History
- OKTEM Laboratory was established in 2001 under TÜBİTAK UEKAE and supported by Turkish Armed Forces (TSK).
- In 2003, after Turkey became a Consuming Member of Common Criteria, OKTEM Laboratory developed its work and research more efficiently to be a Certificate Authorizing Member.
- In 2005, quality of the evaluations conducted by OKTEM is accredited by the Turkish Accreditation Agency (TÜRKAK) within the scope of the ISO 17025 certificate with EAL 4+.
- In 2009, ISO 17025 certificate with EAL 4+ was upgraded to EAL 5+. Same year, Turkey achieved to become a Certificate Authorizing Member.
- Since 2010, many Common Criteria certifications are given to domestic and international IT products by OKTEM Laboratory after the evaluation process.
- OKTEM Laboratory is making a significant effort to make Common Criteria to be used and recognized in both the public and private sectors.
- OKTEM Laboratory always follows the latest technology and one of the pioneer laboratories in the world.
- OKTEM is a licensed laboratory by TSE that tests products which are compatible with ISO/IEC 19790 standards and evaluate products which are claim to be TSE K 505 conformity.
